Now that we are nearing the finish of the breeding season it's time to reflect on the quality of horses that have been born here and their dams walked on to outside stallion farms this year.

As I look out into the paddocks at the foals playing happily I wonder how many of them know what lies ahead in their future racing days.

Very happy with the quality of all the foals born (30 in total in 2014) and agisted here and have to commend our farm manager Daniel and his assistant Lauren for the magnificent job they have done with a very busy season.

Stats in at the start of January for broodmares walked on to Vic stallions and agisted at Hollylodge show all mares in foal bar one of our own. thanks to our vet Vanessa from S & S Vets and Daniel for all their hard work getting the mares in foal for our clients. (not to mention some fertile stallions does help ). Two Hollylodge mares went to Coolmore stallions and they both returned in foal as well.  Thanks to Toolooganvale Broodmare farm for their efforts once again in getting our mares in foal.

Thanks once again to all our loyal long time clients and our brand new clients this season for supporting us at Hollylodge and wishing you all a safe and Happy xmas and a great New Year in 2015.

Cheers,

Chris and Peter Mills
