What an exciting day for us at Hollylodge, Peter, Daniel and I made the trip to Flemington on New Years day to watch our home bred 2 year old filly have her first race in the first race of the day.
Hoping that she would run well it was very exciting to see her at her best not wanting to be beaten and toughed it out to win over 1000m, Katelyn Mallyon her regular rider said she did everything wrong but still won the race. Great training by the on fire team Ellerton/Zahra and a top ride by Katelyn.
This filly has a half sister by So You Think in the Inglis Prem 1 sale Lot 304 and is being prepped by Hollylodge as we speak. A magnificent filly on type should sell well.
