She's only a little filly but she has the biggest heart and she showed what she is made of by winning the prestigious Blue Diamond at Caulfield yesterday.
Ridden perfectly by her regular jockey Lauren Stojakovic she came off the fence and found the break which Lauren immediately recognised as the perfect gap she needed to get the filly out and running home hard.
A wonderful story of racing and winning for the underdogs in our sport the emotional shown by everyone at the track cheering her home and that of Lauren and her family celebrating definitely brought at tear to many an eye including mine. This was the first ride ever in a Group 1 race for Lauren and she took to it like a pro and really showed how it is done.
Well done to M.O.L (barbie) trainer Daniel Clarken and Lauren you all deserve all the accolades given to you.
